The Best Cold Foam Recipes to Try
Looking to upgrade your iced coffee or cold brew without leaving the house? Cold foam is my go to to elevate a mid day coffee (but don’t worry, there’s no bad time of day for cold foam!). It’s remarkably simple to make at home and makes your coffee less of a simple need for caffeine in your system ASAP and more of a treat or indulgence. If you’ve been checking out my other posts, you’ll know I’m borderline obsessed with cold foam, so I thought I’d make it easier and put them all in one place.
What You’ll Need to Make Cold Foam
All of these recipes require just a few basics:
- Cold heavy cream or milk
- Flavoring (like syrups, extracts, or fruit purée)
- A milk frother, blender, or whisk (I will scream it from the roof tops – this frother is a game changer. Worth every penny.)
Basically, cream + milk + flavor + aeration = cold foam. Each cold foam recipe has slight variations on the milk to cream ratio, the type of flavoring, the type of milk, etc. but each recipe is also absolute caffeine partner perfection. So stop whatever you’re doing, make some iced coffee (or cold brew, or iced latte, or chai) and whip up some delicious cold foam! Each post includes full instructions and ingredient measurements to make the process easy and foolproof!
