Blueberry Cobbler Cold Foam

If you loved our homemade blueberry cobbler simple syrup, you are going to love this. This blueberry cobbler cold foam is creamy, lightly sweet, and layered with that delicious warm cake batter and juicy blueberry flavor. It tastes like a scoop of blueberry cobbler with vanilla ice cream — but poured over your favorite iced coffee. It’s a treat and caffeinated pick me up all in one, which makes it basically… one of my favorite things. And the best part? It takes less than 2 minutes to make.
What Is Blueberry Cobbler Cold Foam?
Blueberry cobbler cold foam is a flavored sweet cream foam made with heavy cream, milk, blueberry cobbler simple syrup, and a touch of vanilla. That’s it. Just those four ingredients and you’re all set. When whipped until thick and pourable, it creates that smooth, cloud-like layer that slowly melts into your iced coffee. Unlike cream which you mix in immediately, this cold foam sits on top – think of it as a mix between creamer and whipped cream.
If you have already made our blueberry cobbler simple syrup using real blueberries and cake batter flavoring, this recipe comes together instantly.
(If you have not made the syrup yet, start here first — it is the base that gives this foam its cobbler flavor.)
How to Make Blueberry Cobbler Cold Foam
Ingredients
• ¼ cup heavy cream
• 2 tablespoons milk (whole or 2%)
• 1–2 tablespoons blueberry cobbler simple syrup
• ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional but recommended)
That’s it.
The syrup does most of the flavor work — giving you blueberry, buttery cake notes, and sweetness in one step.
Step By Step Instructions
Step 1: Add Ingredients to a Frother
Combine heavy cream, milk, blueberry cobbler simple syrup, and vanilla in an electric milk frother or mason jar.
Step 2: Froth Until Thick
Use a handheld frother for 15–20 seconds until thick but still pourable. With an electric frother (this one is worth the investment!) just push the froth button. We’re only looking to froth our milk mixture, not steam it.
No frother? Try a mason jar with tight fitting lid (these are my favorite lids) – just shake until nice and foamy!
Step 3: Enjoy!
Add to your favorite iced coffee or latte and you have a delicious new favorite. Sip and enjoy!
How to Use Blueberry Cobbler Cold Foam
This foam pairs perfectly with:
• Iced coffee
• Cold brew
• Vanilla iced latte
• White chocolate iced latte
• Even over iced chai
How Sweet Is It?
Because the simple syrup already contains sugar, start with 1 tablespoon and taste before adding more.
If you prefer:
• Sweeter → add more syrup
• Less sweet → reduce syrup and increase vanilla
You can also adjust milk ratio to make it lighter or richer. I would not add any other sweetener to this recipe – the simple syrup combined with the sweetness of the cake batter flavor make it dessert levels of sweet already!
Make It Lighter
For a lighter version:
• Use half and half instead of heavy cream
• Or swap in a splash of vanilla sweet cream creamer
It will be slightly less thick but still delicious.
Storage Tips
Cold foam is best fresh. However, you can mix the cream, milk, and syrup together ahead of time and store it in the fridge for up to 3 days. Froth the mixture just before serving. Do not froth and store — it will deflate.
Flavor Variations
If you love experimenting with coffee flavors (which you know I do), try:
• Add a pinch of cinnamon for warm cobbler spice
• Stir in a tiny bit of almond extract
• Top with crushed vanilla wafers
• Drizzle white chocolate sauce around the glass prior to adding coffee, or add a drizzle over the foam

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use store bought blueberry syrup?
You can, but it will not have the cobbler flavor depth from the cake batter element. The homemade blueberry cobbler simple syrup really makes this recipe. I also find that the store bought blueberry syrups often have a very… artificial blueberry taste. It’s not my favorite but if you have one you like, go right ahead! It will just be blueberry instead of the depth of blueberry cobbler we have here.
Can I make this dairy free?
Yes. Use:
• Full-fat canned coconut milk
• Or dairy-free heavy cream alternatives
Texture may vary slightly.
Does this taste like Starbucks?
I mean, yes but also better. It tastes similar to a specialty seasonal drink, but more bakery-style and less artificial.
