Simple Rhubarb Syrup

Ingredients

  • 4 cups rhubarb, chopped
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar

Instructions

  • Rinse rhubarb and chop into 1 inch pieces
  • Combine chopped rhubarb, water, and sugar in saucepan and bring to boil, stirring occasionally
  • Once boiling, reduce heat to low and allow to simmer for 25 minutes or until rhubarb is mush and liquid is slightly thick
  • Remove from heat and strain
  • Store in refrigerator
