Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas sliced into ½ inch rounds
  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter
  • Mini chocolate chips
  • Rainbow sprinkles
  • Crushed peanuts
  • Shredded coconut
  • Melted chocolate for drizzling optional

Instructions

  • Slice bananas into approximately ½ inch thick rounds.
  • Arrange banana slices in a mini muffin pan or silicone mold.
  • Microwave peanut butter in 30 second intervals until smooth and easy to drizzle.
  • Spoon or drizzle peanut butter over each banana slice.
  • Top with chocolate chips, sprinkles, crushed nuts, coconut, or your favorite toppings.
  • Transfer to a parchment lined baking sheet or keep in the silicone mold.
  • Freeze for about 2 hours until firm.
  • Serve immediately or store in an airtight freezer container for up to 2 months.

Notes

Slightly underripe bananas hold their shape best.
Natural peanut butter works but should be stirred well first.
