Servings: 12 servings
- 6 cups apple juice chilled
- ½ cup caramel sauce or caramel syrup
- 3 cups ginger ale chilled
- Apple slices optional, for garnish
- Whipped cream optional
- Additional caramel sauce optional, for drizzling
Add the chilled apple juice and caramel sauce to a large pitcher or punch bowl. Whisk well until the caramel is completely incorporated into the apple juice.
Just before serving, pour in the chilled ginger ale and stir gently to combine without losing too much carbonation.
Pour the caramel apple punch into glasses and garnish with fresh apple slices, if desired.
For an extra-indulgent version, top individual glasses with whipped cream or salted caramel cold foam and finish with a drizzle of caramel sauce. Serve immediately.
If the caramel won't mix: Some thicker caramel sauces can be difficult to incorporate into cold apple juice. Mix the caramel with a small amount of slightly warmed apple juice first, then whisk that mixture into the remaining chilled juice.
Make ahead: Mix the apple juice and caramel sauce ahead of time and refrigerate until serving. Wait to add the ginger ale until immediately before serving so the punch stays fizzy.
Sparkling apple version: Replace the ginger ale with sparkling apple cider for even more apple flavor.
Sweeter version: Sprite or another lemon-lime soda can be substituted for the ginger ale.
Fall spice: Add a small pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg for a warmer, spiced caramel apple flavor.
Keep it cold: Freeze apple juice in ice cube trays and add the frozen cubes to the punch instead of regular ice. This keeps the punch cold without watering it down.
