Grinch Snack Mix (Grinch Puffcorn)
This easy Grinch Snack Mix is made with puffcorn coated in green almond bark, then topped with red M&M’s or sprinkles for the perfect festive Christmas treat.
Ingredients
- 1 bag puffcorn butter flavored
- 8 - 10 oz almond bark or vanilla candy coating
- Green food coloring
- Red M&M’s and/or red sprinkles
Instructions
- Pour the puffcorn into a large mixing bowl and set aside.
- Melt the almond bark in a microwave-safe bowl in 20–30 second intervals, stirring between each until smooth and fully melted.
- Add green food coloring to the melted almond bark and stir until you reach a bright Grinch-green color.
- Pour the green coating over the puffcorn and gently toss until every piece is coated.
- Spread the coated puffcorn onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Add red M&M’s and/or red sprinkles while the coating is still wet.
- Let the snack mix cool and harden for 20–30 minutes before breaking apart and storing in an airtight container.
Notes
Gel food coloring gives the most vibrant green.
Add crushed candy canes, pretzels, or marshmallows for extra holiday flair.
Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
