This homemade Apple Crisp Cold Foam is made with a simple apple cinnamon syrup and creamy milk for the perfect fall coffee topping. Spoon it over iced coffee, cold brew, or an iced latte for a cozy apple crisp flavor that tastes just like fall.

Equipment

  • Small saucepan
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Milk frother (preferred) or mason jar with lid
  • Small airtight jar for syrup

Ingredients

  • ½ cup half-and-half preferred, whole milk, or barista-style oat milk
  • 2 - 3 tbsp Apple Crisp Syrup
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract optional
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon optional

Instructions

  • Add the cold half-and-half (or milk) to a milk frother or mason jar.
  • Slowly drizzle in 2–3 tablespoons of the cooled Apple Crisp Syrup.
  • Add vanilla or additional cinnamon, if using.
  • Froth until thick, creamy, and fluffy. If using a jar, shake vigorously for 30–60 seconds.

Assemble

  • Fill a glass with iced coffee, cold brew, or an iced latte.
  • Spoon or pour the Apple Crisp Cold Foam over the top.
  • Sprinkle with cinnamon or nutmeg if desired.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

Why didn't my cold foam work?
Apple juice and milk don't naturally love each other. The acidity in apple juice can cause dairy proteins to curdle if they're mixed incorrectly. See my section on this above to troubleshoot if you're having issues.
